Where did I go to finish off my birthday last year? Twistee Treat! My favorite place for soft serve ice cream. This time I got chocolate and vanilla swirl dipped in chocolate and topped with sprinkles. I love their cones as well because they don't tend to get soggy and drippy from the bottom tip. Twistee treat is definitely a treat!

Prices are awesome and the soft serve is terrific. I used to prefer Jeremiah's for soft serve but this place takes the cake. They only allow card purchases on orders above $5 so bring cash.

Cute and iconic little ice cream cone shaped building. I have been to a few locations around Orlando and stopped by last night to get a cool post dinner treat. They have vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate soft serve ice cream. You can get various other items like sundaes, dipped ice cream cones, and milkshakes. I tried the small strawberry sundae and it hit that sweet spot for me. It was pretty small and a nice little portion of ice cream, just enough to satisfy. My friends had the dipped cones, which have a sort of "magic shell" type topping on them. I have tried these before and they taste great, but here is the issue-the topping is a bit warm and the soft serve ice cream drips wildly out from under the topping. It's super messy and that's fine if you're in the mood for it. Sometimes you don't mind getting messy =) I like this place a lot but find that you have to be in the mood to sit outside and just chill while you have your ice cream. It's a very florida type place to visit. This location had a bathroom that was out of order and the people behind the counter seemed a bit rushed. Also if you're going to use a card to pay for your order there is a $5 minimum.

My first time EVER. We don't live in close proximity of any of the locations so when I kept seeing numerous friends checking in to this place, I got really intrigued. And jealous. So, lo and behold, on our way home from a birthday dinner for a friend, I spotted the huge vanilla cone shaped building and made my husband make a pitstop. The setup is similar to a Jeremiah's . There are several little tables outside and you wait in line outside and order through a window. From their menu, it looks like they do lots of ice cream cones with basic flavors with the option to "dip" your cone or even "gorilla" it (you'll have to go to a location to see what I mean). They also offer sundaes and shakes . I decided to go with a butterscotch waffle cone with vanilla ice cream dipped in butterscotch. OMG I think I died and went to heaven. It was soooooo good! So good I hit a wall really quickly and should've paced myself. The cone was the perfect compliment to the ice cream and I would do it all over again! My husband ordered a butterscotch milkshake and he kept saying that it reminded him of his childhood! They also have a reward punch card for frequent visitors which I'm sure we will fill up in no time! It's a shame it took almost 7 years years living here to finally discover this place but we will most certainly be back to try other goodies that they have to offer!

The basic flavors here are really good, and match up to the twistee treat brand taste you expect. However if you're getting any special flavor, don't come here. They use a basic flavor (strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla) and put a syrup on the swirl to give it a specific taste. My piña colada was just bright yellow syrup on a vanilla swirl, and my boyfriends peanut milkshake tasted like drinking a peanut, powdery feeling and all, and barely sweet, if at all. I've had much better tasting ice cream at other twistee treats. Their flavors are also super limited. They had a very small list, not what I'm used to when going to twistee either, and defeated the whole purpose of us going this particular day. My friends who got the chocolate vanilla swirl were very pleased though, so the visit wasn't a total disappointment. I won't be coming again unless I'm craving a basic flavor massively, and even then the prices are a bit too much for just that.

So yummy. And the building being so cute aided in my liking it so much.. Only thing that I didn't like was it was a bit more expensive for my taste but that may be due to the waffle cone

I've been to this location once. The service was nice- the staff was friendly by smiling while taking out order, and it was also prompt. I was surprised that they got the ice creams out so fast- pretty much as soon as we were done paying. I know it's just ice cream but usually it takes a while to get three ice cream cones ready. There is a seating area outside while seems as though it was clean and well maintained. I had to use the rest room which there were doors in back of the gigantic ice cream cone which had the MEN rest room placard, but no WOMENS. I tried to open both doors but they were locked, for the duration of my time there. Oh well. Maybe it was a trick. My fav Twistee Treat location would be off of Conway and Curry Ford. They give you more ice cream for the size. But this place is still pretty good!

Cheap prices for good soft serve ice cream-if you get a cake cone. I used to get the pineapple vanilla soft-serve ice cream on cake cone. I say used to because they discontinued it! T_____T it was the best flavor combo that I've ever had! I was soooo upset and sad that they don't have it anymore..but that shouldnt keep me from deducting stars...PLEASE BRING IT BACK

This soft serve reminds me of my childhood years living in Van Ness San Francisco where my aunt would stop by this burger place and they had a big twistee as their light up sign. So darn good!!

It doesn't get any better than delicious ice cream at cheap prices. They give you more than enough and the waffle cones are made fresh. The menu is quite large and it took me about 3 minutes to figure out what I wanted. The staff was very friendly and they don't mind helping you make a decision. They take debit cards but you must spend a minimum of 5 dollars. I got a small carmel sunday and my boyfriend got a medium strawberry ice cream in a cup. The total was 5 dollars and some cents. The ice cream was creamy with a great texture. It was the right consistency. The carmel was very very thick....very delicious. They give you more than enough carmel. I actually finished the ice cream and had carmel in the bottom of my cup. Like I said very very cheap. You can't go wrong with anything here.

The milk shakes at Twistee Treat are to die for. I literally think they have the best milk shakes I've ever had. My favorite is the hot fudge shake with vanilla ice cream. It's so creamy, sweet, and perfect, that it almost seems too good to be true. Their soft serve is among the best you'll ever have. If you're feeling like splurging, get a full quart of vanilla/chocolate swirl. I've done that twice now and haven't felt guilty afterward because I know I was helpless to stop it.

Twistee Treat brings me back to my childhood! There is nothing like some soft serve vanilla with rainbow sprinkles to make me feel like a kid again. The soft serve itself is delicious! It's definitely satisfying and great on a hot day! They serve all kinds of frozen treats - shakes, malts, sundaes, etc. You can different toppings on your cone, but my fave is definitely the vanilla dipped in chocolate! Be wary if you get one of their other flavors and plan on dipping it; they DO NOT hold up well and will disintegrate on your cone quickly. The actual location is in a slightly shady section of town. The parking lot that's it's located in is home to a scary little nightclub and there's frequently some questionable characters standing around. Be wary and keep your eyes alert to what's going on around you and you should be fine!

The combination of price and taste give this ice-cream joint a 5 star rating. for under 6 bucks my husband and I both had large ice cream cones (choice of waffle or cake cone) filled with vanilla and chocolate swirl soft serve. My cone was also dipped in chocolate (on the spot), had some extra chocolate sauce poured into it, and then dipped in crushed peanuts! OMG! Just be fore-warned, good things come to those that wait...in line. The line can be long on Friday and Saturday nights, so be prepared to wait between 5-10 minutes when they're busy as they make EVERYTHING fresh. ***Also, they will NOT accept credit cards if the charge is under 5$

I wanted Ice Cream so I went to a place shaped like an Ice Cream Cone. The large cone is pretty big and tasty. I'll go back.

I haven't actually been to this location, only to the International Drive and East SR 50 locations. But, this is as simple and delicious as it gets when it comes to soft serve. When I used to live in Melbourne and take trips to Orlando, the Twistee Treat on SR 50 (which while technically in Orlando, is really closer to Bithlo) was a must-stop on the way back to the coast. The selection of flavors is impressive there, and it's all cheap. Cash only.

This is a great place to stop by for a cool treat on a hot day. The soft serve is nothing special, but the prices are great. They list a $5 minimum for credit/debit but sometimes it's hard to spend that much (even with two people). The staff isn't very friendly, and that's probably their biggest drawback.
